Job description

Shift: Weekend Days | Friday – Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Overtime: Available as needed
Experience Level: Entry to Mid-Level (1+ years)
Work Authorization: U.S. Person Required (ITAR)

Why This Role Exists

This role exists to support increased production output and machining capacity at Ichor Systems’ Osakis facility.

In this position, you’ll contribute to the production of high-precision components used in advanced manufacturing environments, with a strong focus on consistency, quality, and efficiency.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Operate CNC Swiss machines and similar equipment
  • Load parts, monitor cycle performance, and identify issues
  • Install tooling and verify tool offsets per setup sheets
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
  • Perform in-process inspection using standard measuring tools
  • Make basic adjustments to maintain part quality and consistency
  • Identify machining issues and communicate with supervisors
  • Complete required documentation and system entries

Machines, Controls & Software

You’ll work with equipment such as:

  • Machines: CNC Swiss machines, lathes, and mills
  • Controls: Fanuc-type environments (typical)
  • Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, depth mics, basic CMM
  • Quality Systems: GD&T, SPC

Materials You’ll Work With

  • Aluminum

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 1+ years of manufacturing or CNC machining experience
  • Experience operating CNC machines (Swiss, mills, or lathes)
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
  • Comfortable using basic inspection tools
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience with Swiss machining
  • Basic troubleshooting and machine adjustment experience
  • Technical training or machining education
