Quality Technician

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct First Article (Set-Up), In-process, and Final inspections
  • Visually inspect machined parts for conformity to customer specifications, and quality standards. Ensuring there are no defects.
  • Create and maintain accurate records of First Article inspections, Final amp; In-process inspection and utilize the data collection system.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving quality issues, working with other members of the quality and operations teams.
  • Participate in continuous improvement events.
  • Maintain compliance with the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001-AS9100
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 year experience in a manufacturing quality role
  • Experience with ISO 13485 and or ISO 9001-AS9100
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, technical drawings and product specifications (including GD amp;T)
  • Proficiency in utilizing hand inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, microscopes, gauge pins ect)
  • Experience with CMM, digital inspection scopes and other vision systems
  • Experience in the use of statistical/data software
  • Maintain consistent attendance and arrive on time for all scheduled shifts.
Skills:
  • Needs to have solid communication skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail in the inspection and evaluation of manufactured parts.

Shift Hours: Day Shift
  • 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Fridays 7:00am-1:00pm
  • 2nd shift: Monday -Thursday 3:00pm-1:30am
  • Weekend shift: Friday – Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm
(availability to work occasional overtime when needed)
