Part Time Swiss Tech Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over five years of hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC lathes and mills, including Haas, Okuma, Tsugami, and other advanced machinery. This role requires proficiency in programming, blueprint reading, and precision measurement to produce high-quality components efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing raw materials, setting up machines, producing first articles, monitoring quality, and maintaining equipment. Attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. Our CNC machines consist of Haas 3,4,5 axis, Okuma, Precihole, and Tsugami Swiss Turning Lathe.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of raw materials by moving from storage to sawing or machining.
• Producing quality parts from blueprints.
• Setup and tear down in a timely manner.
• Setup and running 1st articles within blueprint specs.
• Programming ability is required.
• Monitor component quality.
• Close attention to detail and ask questions.
• Manual deburring and marking of components.
• Paperwork transactions and documentation activities.
• Willing to run multiple machines within cycle times.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a CNC Lathe and/or Milling Machinist is a MUST!!!
• Must be willing to run either lathes or mills depending on priority.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs infrequently.
• Experience in manual saws, lathes, mills, and related equipment.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and gages.
• Ability to monitor produced parts for required dimensional accuracy.
• Proven attendance record.
• Willingness to work overtime (infrequently).
• Safety oriented.
• Experience with Haas CNC, Fanuc, and/or Okuma controls.
• Programming ability is required.
• Experience with Mastercam is a plus, but not required.
