Job description

Election Night Central Receiving Station

If you want to be part of Elections but your time is limited, the Election Night Central Receiving Station might be for you. CRS workers process equipment and paperwork that election workers return after polls have closed. CRS workers must arrive by 6 pm on Election Night and can expect to be finished about 11pm. Some workers must be registered voters of Travis County to handle balloting materials. Individuals who are not registered voters may carry equipment and act as file clerks/runners inside the station. You must be at least 16 years of age to work. The work can be physically demanding. The Central Receiving Station is located at 5501 Airport Blvd and the pay is $20.00 per hour. This is a Temporary/Seasonal position.

Location: 5501 Airport Blvd, Austin, TX 78751 Department: County Clerk - Elections Division Criminal Background Check Required. In accordance with Executive Order 14248, non-citizens are prohibited from participating in the administration of any Federal election, including access to election equipment, ballots, or related materials.
