Part-time / Seasonal Event Cleaner position available in Notre Dame, IN

Varied work schedule includes late nights and weekends, up to 8 hours per Event


SUMMARY


The Event Custodian will ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests, while maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appearance, before, during, and after stadium events. This is a seasonal position from September through the end of November/mid December.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be punctual and reliable - show up for the agreed upon event shifts on time
  • Sweep restroom and concourse floors
  • Keep restrooms tidy and presentable
  • Keep restrooms stocked - soap, toilet paper, paper towels
  • Empty restroom trash once at the end of the event
  • Must have effective communication skills to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions and safety standards.
  • Perform all job duties in a friendly, courteous manner and adhere to all safety requirements.
  • Respond to customers promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to work alone and with a team in a collaborative environment; Must be able to interact in person with coworkers and the public.
  • Must be able to handle high stress situations.

Requirements:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and seasons for a continuous 8-hour shift.
