Job description

We are seeking a SEASONAL CDL DRIVER to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). We haul crop from the field to processing plant. 80% of the work is drop and hook. Experience in end dumps, hopper bottoms, flat floor, walking floor trailers is preferred. Willing to train if needed.  Our season usually runs June through November.

The business is Agricultural based - working overtime, weekends, and varying schedules as needed based on harvest demands and weather conditions.

This is a seven days a week job during harvest. Pay is 27% of truck earnings.

Responsibilities:

  • CDL - Class A.
  • Valid medical card.
  • Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
  • Load and unload cargo.
  • Properly track and document activity log.
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.
  • Must Inspect truck pre and post trip.
  • Ability to work extended hours.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
