Job description

Built on a foundation of adaptability, diversity, and professional excellence, First to Final Logistics is a pillar in the transportation, logistics, storage, and supply chain industries. We're seeking multiple contract CDL-A Airport Freight Drivers to transport dedicated freight from the ATL airport in Atlanta, GA.

If you have your Class A CDL, a good driving record, and a few years of experience, then you can make $1,400 - $1,800 per week! There is also some bonus potential. Keep reading to learn more and see if you're the right fit!

WHAT THIS CONTRACT POSITION LOOKS LIKE:

CDL-A Airport Freight Driver Responsibilities:

  • Properly loading, unloading, and securing airport freight cargo before transporting it in heavy vehicles
  • Ensuring cargo doesn't get damaged during transit and minimizing shifting
  • Complying with all DOT and safety regulations
  • Following all federal, state, and local driving laws
  • Inspecting the trucks before, during, and after trips and promptly addressing any issues
  • Checking tire pressure, monitoring oil levels, and completing routine maintenance
  • Using electronic logging devices (ELDs) to monitor hours, fuel, mileage, and maintenance
  • Communicating with dispatchers about your routes and schedules, and informing them of delays
