This role requires in-person support.
Duties:
  • Support the design, development, integration, testing, and evaluation of RF and EW systems, subsystems, and supporting test infrastructure.
  • Perform RF signal analysis, waveform generation, modulation assessment, and technical evaluation of RF communications and propagation effects.
  • Use RF laboratory and test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, signal generators, and related instrumentation to construct, acquire, define, measure, and evaluate RF signals and waveforms.
  • Support laboratory, field, and operationally relevant test events, including setup, execution, troubleshooting, data collection, and post-test analysis.
  • Assist with RF modeling and simulation, verification and validation, and assessment of RF coverage, antenna effectiveness, and related performance characteristics.

  • Working knowledge of RF communications, propagation, modulation schemes, and waveform analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with RF measurement and laboratory equipment, including spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Understanding of RF transmit and receive architectures and associated integration and test considerations.
  • Ability to analyze technical data and clearly document findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative technical environment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and contribute in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting test and evaluation of RF, EW, wireless, or communications systems.
  • Field experience with RF propagation testing, over-the-air testing, or other operationally relevant test events.
  • Familiarity with software-defined radio (SDR) concepts and associated hardware.
