An SDR Manager leads and oversees a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) responsible for prospecting and qualifying leads. They develop strategies, set performance goals, and provide coaching to improve outreach efforts. Additionally, they collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation and conversion processes. Their role is critical in building a strong sales pipeline and ensuring SDRs meet targets efficiently.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an SDR manager?

To thrive as an SDR Manager, you need a proven background in sales development, team leadership, and data-driven decision-making, often supported by prior SDR experience or a related degree. Familiarity with CRM software (like Salesforce or HubSpot), sales engagement platforms, and reporting tools is typically required. Strong coaching, motivational, and communication skills help SDR Managers inspire their teams and foster a collaborative culture. These abilities are key to consistently achieving pipeline and revenue goals while developing high-performing teams in a competitive sales environment.

Job description

About Us

Join Seerist, a leading provider of AI-driven, augmented analytics for threat and risk intelligence, designed to help commercial organizations and government anticipate, monitor, and manage global risks. Seerist delivers real-time insights, forecasts, and alerts that bring clarity to decisions and save valuable time for security and intelligence teams. Each day, Seerist helps our customers support their operations and missions globally, ensuring informed, rapid decisions.

About the Role

Seerist is seeking a commercially driven, AI-fluent Director of Revenue Marketing to build and lead a predictable new-logo pipeline engine across its commercial and government markets. This is broader than a traditional demand-generation role: the leader will own one consolidated Marketing and SDR pipeline target spanning demand generation, federal marketing, ABM, digital acquisition, SDR performance, events, strategic partners, and lifecycle programs.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on player-coach who can build the growth strategy, lead a lean team, manage agency partners, and work closely with Sales and Revenue Operations to turn market engagement into qualified opportunities and revenue.

What You Will Own

  • Own and forecast Marketing and SDR-generated new-logo pipeline across commercial and government markets.
  • Build integrated demand-generation and account-based marketing programs around Seerist's highest-priority accounts, buyers, and use cases.
  • Lead paid and organic digital acquisition, working closely with agency partners on media and creative execution, alongside lifecycle marketing, partner marketing, nurture, and conversion strategy.
  • Manage and develop two SDRs, a Campaigns/Lifecycle Marketing specialist, a Field Marketing Manager, and a future Federal Marketing Manager.
  • Direct Seerist's digital growth and ABM agency against qualified pipeline, conversion, and channel-efficiency goals.
  • Build a specialized federal marketing motion in partnership with government leadership, federal Sales, and the Federal Marketing Manager, who serves as the federal subject-matter expert.
  • Own the revenue strategy and ROI framework for events and field programs, including target-account selection, meeting and pipeline goals, pre- and post-event activation, and measurement of sourced and influenced pipeline.
  • Develop repeatable pipeline programs with Control Risks and other strategic partners.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations on funnel definitions, reporting, attribution, scoring, and pipeline forecasting.
  • Use AI, automation, and account signals to improve targeting, personalization, SDR productivity, campaign execution, and decision-making.
  • Establish a culture of accountability, experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.

What Success Looks Like

  • Predictable, high-quality new-logo pipeline across commercial and federal markets.
  • Stronger conversion from engagement and meetings to qualified opportunities.
  • A coordinated Marketing, SDR, and Sales account-development motion.
  • Measurable returns from digital, events, partners, and outbound programs.
  • A scalable federal marketing strategy.
  • Improved team and agency performance.
  • Meaningful productivity gains from AI and automation.
  • Clear reporting, forecasting, and executive visibility into performance.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, ideally in enterprise SaaS, technology, intelligence, security, data, or analytics.
  • 3+ years owning demand generation, growth marketing, or revenue marketing strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience owning qualified pipeline targets and leading integrated revenue marketing programs.
  • Experience managing people and external agencies, with direct SDR leadership or close SDR partnership.
  • Experience building or materially improving a revenue marketing, demand generation, or growth engine.
  • Strong knowledge of ABM, digital acquisition, lifecycle marketing, events, partner marketing, and complex enterprise buying processes.
  • Strong analytical judgment and experience partnering with Sales and Revenue Operations.
  • Practical AI fluency, including experience redesigning workflows or improving growth performance through AI and automation.
  • The ability to operate as both a strategic leader and a hands-on builder.
  • Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Government or public-sector marketing experience is valuable, though not required, federal-market depth is intentionally carried by the Federal Marketing Manager.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work in a fast-moving environment where your work is visible and your impact is immediate.
  • Strong results-oriented, dynamic and diverse culture
  • Competitive salary, bonus plan, 401(k) matching, and long-term incentives
  • Comprehensive medical dental, and vision benefits.
  • Flexible hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in office.
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Professional Development Stipend
  • Paid Parental Leave
