Job Summary:
The Scanning Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely pricing throughout the store by maintaining the store's pricing and scanning systems. This includes shelf tags, weekly ad pricing, promotional signage, and system updates. The role requires attention to detail, good computer skills, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all items are scanned correctly at the register and match shelf and ad pricing
  • Maintain pricing integrity by updating pricing files and conducting price checks regularly
  • Place shelf tags and signs for regular and promotional items
  • Coordinate weekly ad changes, price changes, and promotional signage
  • Work with department managers to verify product prices, descriptions, and UPC accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve scanning errors or pricing discrepancies
  • Perform regular audits of scanned items to ensure accuracy
  • Communicate with corporate pricing departments as needed
  • Train others on scanning system procedures as necessary
