Demo Coordinator

Contributions

  • Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, address their needs, and answer questions about products and store policies

  • Product Preparation: Prepares and showcases food and beverage products for distribution and sampling to customers

  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the natural and organic products sold in the store to assist customers effectively

  • Food Safety Knowledge: Adheres to food safety standards and regulations, ensuring all food products are safe for consumption

  • Cleanliness and Organization: Keeps demo table and surrounding areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and provide support as needed

  • Team Work and Cross Training: Participate in cross training to gain knowledge and skills in multiple departments within the grocery store, such as produce, bakery, and customer service. Assist in other departments as needed, ensuring seamless store operations and consistent customer service. Adapt to varying roles and responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support team members across different areas of the store

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Education: Not applicable

  • Experience: Previous experience in a deli, grocery, or food service environment preferred; customer service experience preferred

  • Skills: Strong communication, basic math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Personal Attributes: Friendly, patient, reliable, and committed to providing excellent customer service

  • Commitment to Values: Passion for natural and organic products and alignment with Earth Fare’s mission and values

Environmental Conditions

  • Works in a customer-facing, fast-paced retail environment

Physical and Sensory Demands

  • Lifting: Up to 25 pounds frequently; up to 50 pounds occasionally

  • Reaching: Frequent reaching above shoulder level and below waist level

  • Standing: Extended periods during demonstrations and customer interaction

  • Pulling/Pushing: Moderate; pushing or pulling carts or supplies as needed
