Scanning Operator

Location: El Paso, TexasΒ 
Work Schedule: 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Working Days: Monday - Saturday
Work Arrangement: On-site

SPS Global is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Scanning Operator to support on-site business operations. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound mail, supporting document and scanning operations, maintaining business service center functionality, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office services delivery.

Job Overview

The Scanning Operator provides exceptional office and mail services across multiple operational areas including inbound and outbound mail processing, shipping and receiving, business service center support, supply replenishment, multifunction device management, and light facilities support.

This role also serves as a cross-trained team member, providing reception/concierge coverage and general office support as needed to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

Reports To:
Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership


What You'll DoMail & Shipping Operations
  • Receive inbound mail and packages and sort items accurately

  • Input mail/package details into chain-of-custody software

  • Manage outgoing mail and package transactions

  • Perform shipping and receiving duties for materials and supplies

  • Notify employees upon receipt of inbound deliveries

  • Distribute mail and packages to company personnel

  • Serve as point of contact for mail and package inquiries

Business Service Center & Equipment Support
  • Perform daily key operations of multifunction devices (MFDs), ensuring functionality and replenishing toner and paper

  • Assist with copy/print orders and monitor equipment performance

  • Submit work orders as required

  • Maintain the Business Service Center in a neat and organized manner

Office & Hospitality Support
  • Monitor, replenish, and order office supplies (pens, paper, toner, etc.)

  • Service and restock pantry, barista, conference, kitchen, and meeting areas

  • Perform meeting room and conference room setups

  • Assist with building occupant moves within assigned facilities

  • Perform light maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned

Client Service & Cross-Functional Coverage
  • Provide 5-star customer service across all communication channels

  • Build professional relationships with customers and internal teams

  • Maintain professionalism and composure in sensitive situations

  • Provide reception/concierge (front-of-office) coverage as needed

  • Train backup personnel and provide guidance on policies and procedures

  • Proactively seek additional work during downtime
