Job description

FUNCTION: Monitor, evaluate, and enhance quality of invoice images by utilizing the scanning software application and other tools.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

  • Performs quality control checks to ensure images of the invoices are legible and meet department and client standards. Rescans and replaces bad images utilizing a computer.
  • Performs back end research for the unscanned and no image queues. Performs research and maintenance on the orphan image queue.   
  • Operates IBML scanner to perform all scanning jobs.
  • Scans bills received from the various work groups.
  • Performs scanning demonstrations for client tours.
  • Performs as back for scanning staff, archive retrieval & outbound mail as needed.
  • Perform day shift scanning & image enhancement as needed.
  • Performs all job responsibilities in accordance with client standards and Cass policies and procedures.
  • Works overtime as required by management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 

  • Good analytical, verbal, and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain a positive attitude, and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to utilize computer software tools to develop and maintain department information.

MINIMUM LEVEL OF PREPARATION AND TRAINING NORMALLY REQUIRED: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience within the utility department and a good understanding of Cass utility procedure and workflow.
  • Experience generally found in a production oriented processing environment.
