The Forklift Operator must be able to safely and confidently handle pallets of glass and bottles of juice weighing approximately 2000 pounds.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Unload trucks of glass/PET bottles
  • Load pallets of glass/PET bottles on the production line
  • Receive pallets from the automated palletizer using forklift
  • Scan the LPN using an RF scanner
  • Putting pallets away in racks or stack in the warehouse
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, adjust, and perform minor maintenance to equipment as needed.
  • Perform change-over/set up for new products.
  • Conduct and record periodic quality control checks.
  • Participate in sanitation and maintenance efforts when needed.

Requirements
  • 1+ years sit down forklift experience
  • Experience stacking pallets 4 high safely and quickly
  • Warehouse management system experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Able to climb, twist, and bend at the knees and back, maneuver in tight spaces, lift objects up to 50 pounds, differentiate between colors, work in extreme temperature conditions (hot or cold), and able to stand and walk a minimum of 70% of the time.
