Job description

Founded in 1977 as the Senior Care Action Network, SCAN began with a simple but radical idea: that older adults deserve to stay healthy and independent. That belief was championed by a group of community activists we still honor today as the โ€œ12 Angry Seniors.โ€ Their mission continues to guide everything we do.

Today, SCAN is a nonprofit health organization serving more than 500,000 people across Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington, with over $8 billion in annual revenue. With nearly five decades of experience, we have built a distinctive, values-driven platform dedicated to improving care for older adults.

Our work spans Medicare Advantage, fully integrated care models, primary care, care for the most medically and socially complex populations, and next-generation care delivery models. Across all of this, we are united by a shared commitment: combining compassion with discipline, innovation with stewardship, and growth with integrity.

At SCAN, we believe scale should strengthenโ€”not diluteโ€”our mission. We are building the future of care for older adults, grounded in purpose, accountability, and respect for the people and communities we serve.

The Job

The Senior Product Manager leads Embraceโ€™s product and platform strategy and execution to scale the organizationโ€™s model of care for older adults. This role drives technology-enabled improvements that streamline care operations, enhance clinician and care team workflows, strengthen partnerships with senior living communities, and integrate diverse data sources to better support patient care. The Senior Product Manager owns key product priorities, leads discovery-first work, partners closely with technical and engineering teams, and supports product team development.

You Will

  • Lead product and platform strategy and execution aligned with Embraceโ€™s care delivery and growth priorities.

  • Own and advance product priorities related to care coordination orchestration, clinician and care team workflow improvements, AI-assisted automation, and integration of continuous data sources such as remote patient monitoring.

  • Conduct discovery-first product work, including stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, problem definition, solution validation, and prioritization.

  • Partner closely with the General Manager, Technical Product Manager, engineering, clinical operations, care teams, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable technology solutions.

  • Translate operational, clinical, and business needs into clear product roadmaps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.

  • Improve the technology experience for clinicians and care team members by identifying workflow pain points and delivering product enhancements that reduce administrative burden.

  • Support integration of diverse data sources to improve patient insights, operational visibility, and care coordination.

  • Collaborate with senior living community stakeholders to support strategic, scalable growth and relationship-building through product-enabled solutions.

  • Monitor product performance, adoption, user feedback, and business impact to inform iteration and continuous improvement.

  • Manage, coach, and develop a junior Product Manager, providing guidance on product practices, prioritization, execution, and stakeholder communication.

  • Supervises/Manages Others (i.e. hires, performance reviews, corrective action, etc.)

  • Actively support and advance SCANโ€™s vision, mission, and strategic goals.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • We seek Rebels who are curious about AI and its power to transform how we operate and serve our members.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Healthcare Administration, Product Management, Technology, Engineering, or a related field required.

  • Five or more years of product management experience, preferably in healthcare, health technology, care delivery, value-based care, payer-provider organizations, or related environments required.

  • Graduate or Advanced Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Ability to define product strategy, develop roadmaps, and translate complex needs into actionable product requirements.

  • Strong understanding of product discovery methods, user research, workflow mapping, and solution validation.

  • Ability to work effectively with engineering and technical product partners to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-centered solutions.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data to guide product decisions.

  • Ability to identify workflow inefficiencies and design solutions that reduce administrative burden for clinicians and care teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate product priorities, tradeoffs, and outcomes to executive and operational audiences.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Ability to build trust-based relationships with internal teams, clinical stakeholders, and senior living community partners.

  • Familiarity with healthcare technology platforms, care coordination tools, data integration concepts, automation, AI-assisted workflows, and remote patient monitoring preferred.

  • Ability to mentor and guide junior product team members while fostering accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

Whatโ€™s in it for you?

  • Base salary range: $125,400.00 to $181,419 annually

  • Work Mode: Partially Remote

  • An annual employee bonus program

  • Robust Wellness Program

  • Generous paid-time-off (PTO)

  • Eleven paid holidays per year, plus 1 floating holiday, plus 1 birthday holiday

  • Excellent 401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with employer match and contribution

  • Robust employee recognition program
