Job description


The primary purpose of this position is to support the Membership Manager in the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of Salesforce and related constituent engagement technologies that strengthen relationships with listeners, donors, event participants, and the broader community. This position serves as a key technical and operational resource for Membership and Development departments, helping translate fundraising and audience engagement strategies into effective CRM solutions while supporting the organization's digital transformation. Working collaboratively with Membership, Major Gifts, Digital Services, UW/Marketing, the USF Foundation and external implementation partners, the incumbent helps assist in the administration of Salesforce, maintain data integrity, develop reports and dashboards, support system integrations, troubleshoot user issues, and assist with testing, documentation, and user adoption. Through the effective use of technology and data, this position helps create a connected, digital-first constituent experience that enhances community engagement, fundraising, stewardship, and public service in support of WUSF's mission.
Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration & Implementation - Support the Membership Manager in the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Salesforce and related fundraising technologies. Assist with system configuration, testing, upgrades, and enhancements to support evolving business needs. Monitor system functionality and troubleshooting issues, escalating complex problems when appropriate. Participate in implementation meetings with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), documenting results and tracking issue resolution. Support system integrations with online giving platforms, marketing automation tools, SMS platforms, and other connected applications. Maintain system documentation, procedures, and user guides.
Data Management & Reporting - Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of constituent data across Salesforce and integrated systems. Perform data imports, exports, deduplication, record maintenance, and quality assurance. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support fundraising, membership, major gifts, audience engagement, and organizational decision-making. Monitor data quality and recommend improvements to business processes and data standards. Assist in developing reporting that supports organizational goals and performance metrics.
User Support & Training - Provide day-to-day Salesforce support for Membership and Major Gift staff. Assist users with system navigation, reporting, troubleshooting, and best practices. Help develop and maintain training materials, documentation, and standard operating procedures. Support onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing users. Promote user adoption through coaching and continuous support.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education & Experience:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and IT certification OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 1-year relevant work experience OR
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or other field involving software and analytical Training
Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce admin user experience and proven training, with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud or NPSP. Experience with Account Engagement (Pardot), Mogli SMS, Marketing Cloud, or other marketing automation platforms. Experience with online giving platforms, digital fundraising, and CRM integrations. Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising, membership programs, donor stewardship, or public media fundraising a big plus.
