Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Salesforce Sales Cloud Technical Product Manager position for our client.

Location: Denver, CO

Duration: 4 months

A Salesforce Sales Cloud Technical Product Manager (TPM) leads the delivery of complex CRM transformation projects. The TPM bridges the gap between business objectives and technical execution, managing cross-functional teams to deliver scalable Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions, integrations, and data migrations on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of Salesforce Sales Cloud programs, initiatives, and strategic product roadmaps.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Solution Architects, and Enterprise Architects to define business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Coordinate engineering, architecture, QA, Salesforce administrators, data, and integration teams across Agile sprints and release cycles.
  • Define and prioritize product backlogs, epics, features, and user stories based on business value and technical dependencies.
  • Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Oversee Salesforce Sales Cloud implementations, enhancements, data migrations, and third-party application integrations.
  • Lead complex integration initiatives involving Salesforce APIs, middleware, enterprise applications, and external data platforms.
  • Support CPQ implementations and integrations, including requirements definition, solution validation, testing, and deployment coordination.
  • Partner with data teams to plan and execute customer and sales data migrations, including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Work closely with Salesforce Architects to ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices, enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and scalability guidelines.
  • Manage dependencies across Salesforce, engineering, infrastructure, security, data, and business teams.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives as appropriate.
  • Track delivery milestones, KPIs, risks, issues, dependencies, and overall program health.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, remove delivery blockers, and escalate critical issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, release readiness, and production deployment.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to validate delivered functionality and ensure solutions meet defined business outcomes.
  • Develop release plans and coordinate Salesforce deployments across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
  • Ensure appropriate change management, documentation, training, and operational readiness for new Salesforce capabilities.
  • Communicate program status, technical risks, decisions, and delivery progress to executive and senior leadership.
  • Continuously evaluate Salesforce capabilities and recommend improvements that increase sales productivity, automation, data quality, and user adoption.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 3 +years of experience in product management, technical program management, CRM delivery, or a related technology role.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with the Salesforce platform, with strong expertise in Sales Cloud.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and CRM transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security model, integrations, APIs, and platform capabilities.
  • Experience managing Salesforce data migrations, including data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
  • Strong experience with third-party integrations and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience working with Salesforce CPQ or other configure-price-quote solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product development practices.
  • Experience writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, requirements, and product documentation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple technical workstreams and cross-functional teams simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical requirements and actionable delivery plans.
  • Experience managing project risks, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and delivery metrics.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or related Salesforce revenue-management capabilities.
  • Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or other enterprise integration platforms.
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps and deployment tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Flosum.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud and enterprise customer-data strategies.
  • Experience with large-scale CRM modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working in highly regulated or enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps, and Salesforce release management.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile delivery tools.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $104,000 to $112,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
