About the role

The Sales Operations Manager will play a key leadership role in strengthening how Double E supports customers, sales teams, and business growth. This position will develop scalable sales operations processes, build and maintain analytics dashboards, and turn data into actionable insights that improve forecasting, pipeline visibility, customer responsiveness, and team performance. You will also create sales training and enablement tools that help commercial teams work more consistently and effectively across regions, products, and customer segments. In addition, this leader will manage the inside sales and customer service teams, ensuring strong execution, clear priorities, and a high standard of customer support.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, analytical, and collaborative leader who enjoys building structure, improving processes, coaching teams, and helping a growing manufacturing business operate with greater speed, clarity, and accountability.

Requirements:

What you’ll do

Build scalable sales operations processes that improve quoting, order flow, forecasting, pipeline visibility, reporting, customer communication, and cross-functional handoffs.

  • Set and track meaningful KPIs. Strengthen sales analytics and dashboards to give leaders clear visibility into performance, pipeline health, customer activity, quote conversion, backlog, service levels, and key commercial metrics.
  • Be the leading partner in sales driving recommendations for our overall GTM efforts.
  • Create practical training, onboarding, and enablement tools.
  • Lead inside sales and customer service teams with clear priorities, strong coaching, and a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Align commercial processes with operations and production capacity, lead times, customer commitments, and business priorities.
  • Lead change management for new tools, processes, dashboards, and training initiatives so teams adopt them smoothly and confidently.

About you

You are a process-minded sales operations leader who can balance strategy, analytics, people leadership, and hands-on execution. You enjoy building tools and systems that make teams more effective, and you know how to translate data into practical action.

  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, commercial operations, customer service leadership, inside sales leadership, or a related role.
  • Prior people management experience; leading, coaching, and developing teams in customer-facing function.
  • You have implemented Salesforce, or an alike CRM, before.
  • You’re an operator. You can lead the buildout of strong analytics, but more importantly, you can implement process improvements to make our sales efforts operational.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and improve sales processes, workflows, reporting cadences, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce), Microsoft Excel, and business intelligence or dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms that provide efficiency insights for revenue generating activities.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with sales, operations, finance, marketing, IT, and executive leadership to solve problems and drive adoption of new processes.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a continuous improvement approach.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial equipment, engineered products, or B2B distribution environment.
  • Experience supporting quote-to-order, configure-price-quote, ERP, or CRM-to-ERP workflows.
  • A strong operator with impeccable project management capabilities and prior change management impacts.

Salary Range

$120,000 – 150,000 annually
