Job description

Anant Enterprises - An Expert in Real Estate Development and Hospitality Operations is welcoming applications for a Regional Sales Manager - Lincoln, responsible for the coordination and implementation of sales and marketing plans of multiple hotel properties in the Omaha area. This individual works closely with the Revenue Team and area General Managers and would be based in Lincoln, NE selling 3 hotels in the Lincoln market.
The ideal candidate has a solid background in hospitality sales management and marketing within the industry. This individual is adept with the sales management of multiple properties, is well-organized, proactive, and resourceful. The candidate understands trends and risks, is skilled in communication and analyses, and operates with integrity.
Essential Requirements
  • Handle fast-paced transactions, typically within a 30 to 90 days window of consumption.
  • Evaluate leads to select the most profitable opportunities within a short booking window.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new, current, past, and prospective clients.
  • Design, create, and present promotional materials in response to leads and avoid pursuit of low value leads.
  • Use all brand and vendor sales tools, resources, and keeping current on brand programs.
  • Ensure a high level of engagement in all brands and Anant initiatives, resources and closing tools.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on how to maximize client experience.
  • Perform detailed analyses using conceptual, statistical, and financial techniques to evaluate the impact of new initiatives, measure performance and determine growth opportunities.
  • Analyze trends, patterns, and irregularities in key metrics in order to drive business decisions.
  • Actively engage in key partnerships/relationships across the company to ensure alignment and long-term success across organizations.
  • Project manage the implementation of approved initiatives and meeting with key partners to ensure a smooth activation.
  • Develop and maintain both ongoing and ad-hoc reporting, build and deliver presentations to partners and clients at various levels in the organization, monitor industry trends and competitive benchmarks, and assist with project management of key business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain positive service-oriented relationships with partners and clients.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of market conditions, industry trends, and the competition by analyzing STR data, TravelClick Business Intelligence, Brand reports and other competitive insight and platforms.
  • Review Proformas and Displacement Models to assist in determining the optimal mix of business and understanding the profitability of potential accounts.
  • Effectively move share from competitors to the hotel, achieving desired RevPAR index goals through a proper mix of business
  • Continually identify and solicit new clients and target groups.
  • Collaborating with the General Manager, Revenue Manager and sales team to creatively win and secure the business.
  • Manage the marketing, selling, and delivering of hospitality services for our portfolio.

Education and Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of hotel sales and analysis experience required in addition to multi-unit.
  • Preferred experience in management or selling of multiple hotels and/or multiple brand experience (Hilton, Marriott, IHG).
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills, keen abilities to set and achieve priorities. Proactive approach to everything is REQUIRED.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, function well under pressure, delegate effectively, ability to remain positive and constructive under stress.
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and have reliable transportation
  • Ability to collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Revenue Management to increase revenue in assigned hotels.
  • Ability to develop sales strategy, hotel growth and detailed action plans for assigned hotel(s).
  • Highly proficient in the following systems: TravelClick Demand, Rate and Agency 360, IHG Concerto, IHG RFP, MarRFP, One Yield, STR and other systems as they evolve.
