The Opportunity:
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Enterprise Sales Director to drive strategic growth for Ookla's enterprise solutions portfolio. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing complex enterprise opportunities with telecommunications providers, technology companies, and large enterprises that rely on network intelligence, WiFi performance visibility, connected user experience insights, and advanced performance analytics to optimize business operations and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate combines consultative enterprise selling expertise with a deep understanding of telecom, network performance, SaaS analytics, and data-driven business solutions. This individual will own executive-level relationships, manage long sales cycles, and consistently exceed revenue targets while positioning Ookla as a trusted strategic partner.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow enterprise revenue across assigned territories and verticals.
  • Identify, qualify, and close large-scale SaaS, data, analytics, network intelligence, and enterprise WiFi opportunities.
  • Drive sales of Ekahau WiFi design, optimization, and troubleshooting solutions to enterprise customers, partners, and service providers.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline capable of consistently achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Lead complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting through contract negotiation and close.
  • Sell consultatively by aligning Ookla and Ekahau solutions with customer business objectives, operational challenges, digital transformation initiatives, and wireless network performance goals.
  • Educate customers on the business impact of WiFi performance, wireless reliability, and user experience across enterprise environments.
Executive Relationship Management
  • Establish trusted relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, network architects, wireless engineers, procurement leaders, and operational stakeholders.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on network performance, WiFi optimization, customer experience, mobile and broadband intelligence, and market benchmarking.
  • Conduct executive presentations, business reviews, wireless solution workshops, and product demonstrations.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Working Experience
  • Enterprise and consultative sales expertise
  • Strong understanding of WiFi technologies and enterprise wireless networking
  • Ability to articulate the business value of network intelligence and wireless performance solutions
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Relationship building with technical and business stakeholders
  • Pipeline development and strategic account management
  • Negotiation and contract management
  • CRM proficiency, preferably Salesforce
  • Cross-functional collaboration and solution-oriented selling
  • Knowledge of WiFi 6/6E/7 technologies and emerging wireless standards
  • Familiarity with enterprise networking vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Extreme Networks, or Ruckus
  • Understanding of RF spectrum analysis, wireless site surveys, and network troubleshooting methodologies
  • Experience working with telecommunications providers, managed service providers, or channel partners
  • Knowledge of SaaS subscription models, recurring revenue strategies, and enterprise software licensing
  • Experience selling network analytics, observability, or digital experience monitoring platforms
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical network performance data to executive audiences
  • Experience participating in industry trade shows, technical conferences, or partner events
  • Existing relationships within enterprise IT, networking, or telecom decision-maker communities
  • Familiarity with cloud networking, SD-WAN, SASE, or cybersecurity-adjacent technologies

Compensation Range
Ookla provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is $100,000 to $150,000/base per year. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
