It involves equipping sales professionals with the knowledge and assets they need to engage prospects, close deals, and maximize productivity. This can include product training, access to sales content, analytics, and alignment of sales processes within the Salesforce ecosystem. The goal is to streamline sales workflows, improve communication, and drive better results through the effective use of Salesforce solutions.

How does a Salesforce Sales Enablement specialist typically collaborate with sales teams to improve performance?

A Salesforce Sales Enablement specialist works closely with sales teams to identify skill gaps, deliver tailored training, and provide ongoing support for Salesforce tools and processes. They often facilitate workshops, create learning materials, and act as a point of contact for questions about Salesforce best practices. Collaboration also includes gathering feedback from sales staff to refine enablement initiatives and working cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment with company goals. This close partnership helps ensure that sales teams are well-equipped and confident in using Salesforce to drive results.

  • Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise platforms using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, event-driven integrations, and other integration patterns
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Salesforce security, including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, role hierarchy, field-level security, connected applications, OAuth, and integration security
  • Participate in code reviews, automated testing, release management, deployment activities, troubleshooting, and production support

  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture, security, data, infrastructure, and other technology teams when designing solutions that extend beyond Salesforce
  • Support integration and data movement between Salesforce and Snowflake, including ETL/ELT processes and APIs, while exploring opportunities to incorporate AI and intelligent automation into Salesforce workflows and Sales Enablement processes, including technologies such as Salesforce Agentforce and Snowflake Cortex
  • Remain current on Salesforce releases, platform capabilities, security changes, development practices, and emerging AI technologies
Qualifications
