Job description

Role Overview

Join our rapidly growing Technology Enablement practice as a Sage Intacct Solution Architect and trusted client advisor, blending deep technical product expertise, system transformation experience, and project management rigor to design and deliver integrated solutions across a wide range of client complexity โ€“ from emerging high-growth companies to multi-entity, global organizations. This role combines hands-on solution architecture and delivery leadership on Sage Intacct engagements with sales enablement and people development responsibilities, ensuring clients receive tailored solutions that drive operational excellence, scalable finance operations, and long-term growth.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Lead Client Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Sage Intacct engagements โ€“ including initial implementations and phased rollouts โ€“ applying project management discipline across scoping, milestone planning, resource and budget management, risk mitigation, and status reporting to deliver in-scope, on-time, on-budget outcomes for clients of varying size and complexity.
  • Own solution architecture across engagements, defining current- vs. future-state design, configuration approach, integration patterns, and data conversion strategy, while overseeing quality of deliverables and guiding internal teams through complex technical and functional issues.
  • Architect integrated solutions leveraging deep expertise in core finance processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Close) and Sage Intacct integrations with adjacent systems such as CRM, billing/revenue, FP&A, payroll, banking, and reporting platforms.

Support Sales Enablement

  • Support sales enablement for the Sage Intacct practice by understanding client needs, collaborating on the appropriate solution capabilities, scoping services, and shaping the delivery approach across varying client size and complexity.
  • Collaborate with technology sales and leadership teams to develop proposals, address objections, and negotiate contracts.
  • Build compelling business cases for ERP solutions at all organizational levels, including executive and board stakeholders.
  • Expand transformation opportunities by aligning Sage Intacct solutions with other CrossCountry service offerings.

Mentor & Develop Teams

  • Coach, mentor and develop junior team members; provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation, including responsible adoption of AI and automation tools.

Marketing & Growth Initiatives

  • Participate in webinars and industry events to generate leads and expand market presence.
  • Contribute to packaged service offerings and solution architecture frameworks.

Embrace AI & Emerging Tools

  • Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
  • Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.

What Youโ€™ll Bring

Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting and ERP consulting, with proven success in ERP solution design, architecture, and end-to-end implementation.
  • Hands-on Sage Intacct experience, including Core and Advanced functionality (Contracts, Global Consolidation & Advanced Ownership, Inventory, Platform Services, Sage AI, etc.).
  • Prior experience in professional services (consulting, advisory, or public accounting).
  • Proven project management experience leading complex, multi-workstream Sage Intacct engagements โ€“ including scoping, milestone planning, resource and budget management, task execution, risk mitigation, status reporting, and stakeholder communication โ€“ combined with effective team leadership across clients of varying size and complexity.
  • Exposure to sales enablement, proposal development, and client relationship management.
  • Experience serving nonprofit, financial services (including family asset management and family offices), private equity backed, and/or software & technology clients preferred.
  • Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.

Skills

  • Deep understanding of financial processes, ERP integrations, and data architecture across the finance technology stack.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Systems (MBA a plus).
  • Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist certification required.

CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following range takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity. An estimate of the current range is $155,000 - $240,000 per year + annual bonus + additional benefits.
