About the team:

As part of our ClearanceJobs New Business Sales team, you will be a front-facing resource to help our constant mission of being the most indispensable career marketplace for the Department of Defense, Homeland Security and Intelligence contracting community along with the Federal Government agencies these companies support. We are responsible for adding new contractors and government entities that are in search of candidates that require a US Security Clearance. 

About the role:

As an Account Executive - Mid-Market, you will own and manage your book of business by acquiring net new clients & re-engaging inactive accounts for our ClearanceJobs Mid-Market Accounts segment who specialize in hiring security cleared professionals. You will be doing discovery, demonstrations, and follow-up conversations with prospective clients to help find the right recruiting solutions that fit their overall cleared security personnel needs. As a part of a collaborative and learning culture, you will be required to come into our state of the art office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in either Des Moines or Denver, depending on candidate location.

What will happen once hired:

  • You'll complete our comprehensive onboarding/training program so you have the knowledge of our brand's products, services, and value propositions and the tools and support needed to close your deals
  • You'll attend regular bi-weekly Sales Enablement training sessions (you'll also find a massive library of content, insights, and techniques needed to accelerate your performance)
  • You'll organize your book of accounts and formulate your preferred attack strategies (you'll be introduced to and collaborate with relevant individuals within DHI who can assist and support your day-to-day experience)
  • Every day you'll absorb competitive intel and learn how to handle common objections with targeted talk tracks

As you progress in this role you will:

  • Self-generate your own opportunities to sell, leveraging a hunter mindset
  • Work with a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help create additional opportunities in addition to what has been self-generated
  • Be productive and efficient with the technology stack we use on a daily basis (i.e. Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator)
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly quotas 

What you bring to the ClearanceJobs Sales team:

Required:

  • Recent experience building, selling and managing your own book of accounts
  • A Grinder/Hunter mentality combined with an intrinsically motivated focus
  • A skilled user of Salesforce, SalesLoft or Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Microsoft Office products 
  • You are comfortable accepting change and working in a fast-paced environment
  • You are known to write succinctly and speak convincingly; you are organized and time sensitive
  • Reside in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area 
  • Are willing and able to attend Company Events in the DC region 

Preferred:

  • Experience selling to the Federal government space (agencies, military, defense) is highly desirable
  • SaaS sales experience
