  • Conduct on-site inspections of commercial roofs to assess damage, wear, and service needs.
  • Develop detailed and accurate estimates for service repairs, preventative maintenance, and minor re-roofing projects.
  • Collaborate with service technicians and project managers to ensure estimates reflect actual field conditions.
  • Communicate with clients to clarify project scope, present proposals, and answer questions.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding estimates and proposals to support sales efforts.
  • Maintain current knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Utilize estimating software and CRM tools to generate and manage proposals.
  • Ensure all estimates comply with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required Education
  • High School Diploma Required
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 1 year in a service estimating role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up, metal).
  • Proficiency in estimating software (Edge preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a service-focused commercial roofing environment.
Skills & Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds or more and perform physical tasks during roof inspections
  • Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Successful Pre-Employment Drug test
  • Successful Background Check
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Use and operation of drones a Plus
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital proposal tools.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 Certification Preferred
