We are a leading commercial roofing contractor committed to delivering high-quality roofing solutions with exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Commercial Roofing Sales Associate to help grow our customer base, develop new business opportunities, and support our continued success.
Position Summary
The Commercial Roofing Sales Associate is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with property owners, facility managers, general contractors, and property management companies, and assisting customers with their commercial roofing needs. This position works closely with estimating and operations teams to ensure a seamless experience from initial contact through project completion.
Responsibilities
  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, cold calling, referrals, and relationship building.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial property owners, facility managers, general contractors, and property management companies.
  • Schedule and conduct customer meetings and roof assessments.
  • Work with estimators to develop accurate proposals and present roofing solutions to clients.
  • Follow up on proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM software.
  • Collaborate with project managers and operations to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
  • Stay informed on commercial roofing systems, products, warranties, and industry trends.
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Prepare weekly sales activity reports and forecasts.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer service preferred.
  • Commercial roofing or construction industry experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
