Department Profile
Global Capital Markets (GCM) integrates Morgan Stanley's expertise in Sales and Trading and Investment Banking, offering clients seamless advice and sophisticated solutions. GCM originates, structures and executes public and private placement of equities, investment-grade and noninvestment-grade debt and related products. The group provides fresh ideas and broad distribution to help clients get the most out of each stage of a transaction, and continually develops capital markets solutions to enable clients to mitigate strategic, operational, credit and market risks.

The Roadshow Coordinator will be responsible for managing a high volume of equity products, to include: IPOs, Follow-Ons, Convertibles, Testing the Waters / Pilot Fishing, SPACs, and Block Trades across all market segments for Domestic and International companies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with corporates, institutional equity sales, investment banking and equity capital markets to execute roadshows and coordinate investor meetings and group events both in-person and virtually
  • Organize logistics including cars, hotels, air (private & commercial) for company management and bankers when traveling for in-person roadshows
  • Maintain and distribute schedules daily to deal team
  • Coordinate with venues/hotels to secure meeting space, set up food & beverage, and arrange audio visual for in-person roadshow meetings when needed
  • Knowledge of venues/hotels in key North American cities
    Available and responsive throughout each roadshow and on-site management of events (in NYC) where necessary
  • Expense reconciliation to include processing of invoices and payment to vendors

Skills Required

  • Ideally 3+ years of corporate experience, within a similarly fast-paced, deadline-driven environment such as financial services, professional services, consulting, or investment banking.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage high-volume deliverables concurrently, and consistently meet tight deadlines. Ability to manage multiple projects with extraordinarily high level of focus on work quality and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Requires independent decision making, strong judgment, and excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • Commitment to working hard and high level of motivation with a pleasant attitude

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $125,000 per year for Analyst, and between $120,000 and $200,000 per year for Associate, at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
