Job description

Hamilton Company is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of manual, semi-automated and robotic products for precision fluid measuring. We specialize in the development, manufacturing and customization of precision measurement devices, automated liquid handling stations, and sample management systems. Hamilton Company is looking for a Decontamination/RMA Processor who will be performing all duties associated with returned goods. The Decon/RMA Processor will be responsible for the decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of instruments utilizing infection control and safety practices during all phases of the process.

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Maintains a clean work area
  • Communicates appropriately using good interpersonal skills
  • Removing returned goods from packaging for cleaning
  • Cleaning and sterilizing equipment as necessary and following Hamilton Safety Procedures
  • Enter progress information in RMA document pertaining to returned goods
  • Ensure parts requiring rebuild or in-depth mechanical analysis are delivered to the respective department
  • Must work independently
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Be conscientious, industrious, precise and reliable
  • Must pay close attention to detail and have the ability to retain knowledge of the work involved
  • Be capable of planning and assessing priorities to maintain production
  • Accept responsibility and prefer activities of a repetitive nature
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Ability to work harmoniously within the department as well as interfacing with all other departments
  • Position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move light objects
  • Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization process
  • Knowledge of proper PPE equipment
  • Must be able to pass a fit test for respirator

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program Completion Preferred
  • Some college preferred (2+ years)
  • Experience with an autoclave sterilizer a plus
