Job description

A nationally recognized and thriving wealth management and advisory firm is seeking a Vice President of Client Services to help shape and elevate the client experience across a growing organization.

This is an opportunity for an experienced client service leader who thrives at the intersection of people leadership, operational excellence, and advisor partnership. The ideal candidate brings deep experience within an RIA or wealth management environment, extensive people management expertise, and a passion for coaching teams while driving continuous improvement.

Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams

  • Manage and mentor client service professionals and team leaders across multiple locations
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and service excellence
  • Coach, develop, and retain top talent through structured feedback and professional development
  • Create and deliver training programs that strengthen technical expertise and client service skills

Elevate the Client Experience

  • Establish and maintain service standards that create a consistent client experience across the organization
  • Ensure client needs are proactively anticipated and addressed
  • Build a service culture where teams act as trusted partners to advisors and clients rather than simply processing requests
  • Monitor service metrics and implement improvements that enhance quality and efficiency

Partner Across the Business

  • Collaborate closely with advisors, operations, compliance, technology, and investment teams
  • Serve as a trusted resource on client service strategy, workflow design, and operational best practices
  • Support advisor onboarding, integration initiatives, and business growth efforts
  • Represent the client service organization in cross-functional leadership discussions

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve scalability, and enhance team effectiveness
  • Lead strategic initiatives and special projects from planning through implementation
  • Leverage data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Help build the infrastructure, playbooks, and processes necessary to support future growth

  • 10+ years of experience within wealth management, private wealth, or financial services
  • Significant leadership experience managing client service teams, including experience developing managers
  • Strong understanding of RIA operations, account administration, client onboarding, and money movement processes
  • Expertise working with major custodial platforms and CRM (Salesforce) systems
  • Demonstrated success building teams, improving processes, and implementing service standards
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization
