Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Receptionist in Rochester, NY. This job is onsite. Please reply with an updated resume for consideration.
Type: Temp to hire
Pay: $18 per hour
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

  • Greeting all guests and creating an inclusive and welcoming environment.
  • Answer phone, route calls, take messages.
  • Maintains security by following procedures to sign in guests and by monitoring access to office area.
  • Manage and protect sensitive information, such as visitor logs, employee contact details, and internal communications. Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and integrity, especially when dealing with confidential information.
  • Field and manage e-mails, inquiries, and faxes.
  • Distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Prepare postage on outgoing mail as well as Federal Express, United Parcel Service and local courier service deliveries.
  • Update and maintain all agency contact directories.
  • Distribute incoming faxes.
  • Schedule meetings as requested.
  • Maintain daily meeting schedule.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the reception and foyer areas ensuring it is guest-ready.
  • Help with special events, projects and mailings as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Receptionist:
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Polished interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Word and Outlook
  • Multi line phone experience
  • Poised to multi-task and manage various demands and fluctuating priorities
