Front Desk Receptionist, Full-Time, Retirement Community

Full-Time 40 hours a week

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

  • Work assigned position as scheduled.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers of The Woodlands. Customers include residents, families, visitors and staff.
  • Answer telephone and direct callers to the proper party. Greet visitors to the facility and direct them to the proper floor or person.
  • Have a good working knowledge of the files and be able to retrieve items as requested. Maintain a copy of everything you type and file in appropriate place.
  • Perform ongoing responsibilities assigned to you in a timely manner.
  • Attend in-services.
  • Sort, distribute and deliver incoming mail.
  • Know the mechanics of all office equipment and be able to maintain and use them in production of daily work (computers, copiers, postage machine, fax machine, label maker, etc.) so they will be in good working order.
  • Be flexible with changing requirements and job responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager, Supervisor, or Administrator.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • At least 1 year plus experience in Receptionist position or related experience.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on telephone and in person.
  • Strong Telephone Skills
  • Pleasant and clear telephone voice with proper grammar spoken
  • Ability to work with a variety of individuals including customers and staff
  • Microsoft Office Skills – Excel-Word, Outlook
  • Ability to multi-task
