Job description

Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), with a mission to honor and serve older adults as an expression of Christ's love, does so with eight continuing-care retirement communities in Texas. Affiliated with MRC and located in Lufkin, Pinecrest Retirement Community, is a leader in continuing care retirement living offering independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and home health.
Pinecrest is currently seeking a Part- Time Front Desk Receptionist to work overnight.
Hours: 12am-8am Schedule: Saturday & Sunday
The Front Desk Receptionist:

  • Provides coverage at front desk in the community as a key contact for residents for a variety of requests.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for guests, greeting them and meeting their needs for information and direction.
  • Answers the main telephone number, greeting callers, routing calls and providing information.
  • Responsible for patrolling the buildings and grounds.
  • Provides light maintenance and environmental upkeep.
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to project a friendly courteous personality towards residents, families and co-workers
  • Ability to multitask
