The people at Apple donʼt just build products - we craft the kind of wonder thatʼs revolutionized entire industries. Apple is where individual creativities gather together, contributing to the values that lead to extraordinary work. Every new product we build, service we create, or Apple Store experience we deliver, is the result of us making each other's ideas stronger.
Apple is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Program Manager to join the Retail Finance PART (Process, Analytics, Reporting and Technology) team. In this role, you will partner with leads in finance, operations, strategy, analytics and IT to drive optimization through process, data and technology solutions. You’ll apply your abilities in strategy, planning, and execution to devise operational and technical solutions that support the Retail and Retail Finance roadmap.
Description
You will work directly with Business Stakeholders to understand their needs and partner with Engineering teams to deliver user-centered solutions. Success requires an individual to think strategically and drive the bigger picture, while simultaneously being in the details of all key deliverables. You must be self-motivated, comfortable working with minimal direction in a global, fast-paced, often ambiguous environment. You have exceptional analytical skills, a maniacal attention to detail, and a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
You’ll connect the dots, build trust and understanding between groups, and orchestrate the activities needed to make your projects successful. The ideal candidate should have experience managing large technical projects that interweave multiple functional teams and/or multiple systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record of leading strategic programs while executing tactical project-level activities.
• Experience planning, managing, and delivering large-scale, cross-functional systems projects, with proficient knowledge of systems implementation, development lifecycles, and enterprise-scale systems.
Demonstrated ability to bridge Business Stakeholders and Engineering teams, translating business problems into clear product requirements and feature specifications.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to all levels of an organization.
Strong organization, collaboration, and cross-functional abilities, with comfort operating in fast-paced environments. A keen attention to detail to proactively identify and address risks, gaps, or communication breakdowns.
Natural leader and motivator with the ability to lead teams with or without direct reports, influence without authority, and the technical acumen to effectively strategize on solutions with IT teams.
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial modeling
MBA or technical graduate degree is a plus.
Experience in finance, internal tools or SAP is desirable
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in program and/or portfolio management
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
