Job description

The work
The SAP CAR Data Transfer and Audit Consultant is responsible for ensuring accurate capture, transfer, and audit of customer activity data-particularly PointofSale (POS) transactions-into the SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR). The consultant works closely with clients and business stakeholders to translate requirements into inbound and outbound data processes supporting POS and ecommerce integrations with SAP CAR and SAP S/4HANA. This role includes configuring systems, developing documentation, resolving data transfer issues, and enabling highquality data auditing practices across retail and financial environments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define data integration requirements for POS and ecommerce systems
  • Create functional specifications and documentation for SAP CAR interfaces and processes
  • Configure SAP CAR and SAP S/4HANA to receive, process, and consolidate POS and ecommerce data
  • Develop processes for error handling, monitoring, and rootcause analysis related to data transfer issues
  • Ensure smooth integration between SAP CAR and connected systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Finance, and Retail modules
  • Provide training and support to endusers on CAR functionality and data auditing workflows
  • Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across inbound and outbound data streams

Here's what you need:

  • 2+ years of handson experience with SAP CAR (POSDTA, auditing, data integration)
  • Experience integrating POS and ecommerce platforms with SAP CAR and SAP S/4
  • Strong understanding of retail data flows, master data, and transaction processing
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve data transfer and processing issues

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SAP Retail, Finance, or related modules
  • Familiarity with data governance or audit processes

Eligibility requirements:

  • US Citizenship required 
  • Eligible to obtain a government clearance
