Job Summary:
Operating under general supervision, supports the coordination, execution, and tracking of companywide communications related to product Pull & Quarantines and recalls, serving as the primary point of focus for these activities. Acts as a central point of contact to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent messaging across internal teams and field operations, supporting regulatory compliance, operational execution, and risk mitigation. Additionally, provides flexible support across other retail compliance programs as needed, contributing to broader team priorities while maintaining primary accountability for recall-related work.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Primary responsibility: Under general supervision, coordinate end-to-end tracking of all Pull & Quarantine and recall actions, ensuring timely completion and driving follow-up through substantiation
  • Coordinate and distribute Pull & Quarantine/recall communications to internal teams and field operations, ensuring clarity and timeliness
  • Maintain availability to respond to urgent, time-sensitive matters, including during non-standard business hours
  • Operate with a consistent sense of urgency in a deadline-driven environment
  • Serve as liaison between Compliance and cross-functional partners (Operations, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Quality, Technical) during recall events
  • Support development and maintenance of compliance communications, SOPs, and job aids
  • Maintain and update tools and systems used for compliance tracking and reporting
  • Provide support across Rtail Compliance initiatives and projects, as needed
  • Assist across regulated compliance areas (e.g., alcohol, food safety, tobacco, lottery) as business needs require
  • Drive follow-up on open actions to ensure completion and proper documentation
  • Maintain organized documentation to support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.

External Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience in compliance or related field
  • Experience delivering impactful written and verbal communications
  • Basic skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using functions, pivot tables, filters, special formatting).
  • Entry level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: changing picture styles, customizing animation and/or setting automatic slide timings).
  • Willing to travel up to/at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of field structure and exposure to field communication tools.
