Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our clients growing team. This role requires a driven individual with a strong foundation in restaurant construction management. The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight on projects, ensuring successful outcomes that align with our strategic goals and customer expectations.
Location: Tampa, FL
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Preconstruction team to estimate and plan projects efficiently.
  • Read and interpret construction plans and specifications tailored to restaurant construction.
  • Mentor and support less experienced project management staff, fostering a team environment that emphasizes growth and learning.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to secure and sustain business growth.
  • Manage the procurement of Subcontractors and Vendors, ensuring comprehensive scope of work reviews, contract compliance, and risk management.
  • Address and resolve drawing interpretation issues, conflicts, and discrepancies.
  • Oversee project administration tasks including Submittals, RFI's, Change Order Proposals, Owner Billings, and Monthly Reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial projections and cost management to forecast total estimated project costs.
  • Monitor and update Project Schedules, reporting on progress and ensuring timely project delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or substantial project management experience in restaurant construction may substitute for education.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically with restaurant construction projects.
  • Proficient understanding of construction methods and building systems specific to the hospitality and restaurant sector.
  • Strong financial management and project oversight abilities, with a proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion.
