HR Manager
 Eagle, ID (Onsite)
 $75,000 – $95,000

CV Resources is partnering with a growing organization in the Eagle area to hire their first dedicated HR Manager. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape the HR function from the ground up while supporting a team of ~50 employees across three states.

This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats—someone who can think strategically while also executing day-to-day HR operations, including payroll.

Position Overview

The HR Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all HR functions, including payroll oversight, compliance, employee relations, recruiting, and policy development. This individual will serve as a key partner to leadership and help establish scalable processes to support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

? HR Operations & Strategy

  • Build and implement HR processes, policies, and best practices from the ground up
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and leadership
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and multi-state employment laws

? Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Oversee and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollments and vendor coordination
  • Maintain HRIS and employee records

? Employee Relations & Culture

  • Support employee engagement, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • Advise leadership on HR best practices and organizational development
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture

? Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts across departments
  • Develop onboarding programs to support new hires and retention
  • Partner with managers to identify hiring needs and workforce planning

? Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies across multiple states
  • Manage documentation, audits, and reporting requirements

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist or standalone role
  • Experience overseeing or processing payroll
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state employment laws and HR compliance
  • Experience building or improving HR processes and systems
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a hands-on environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Why This Role?
  • Opportunity to build and own the HR function
  • High visibility with leadership and direct impact on company growth
  • Collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Competitive compensation and growth potential
