Job description

JOB TITLE: HR Analyst 1, HR Analyst 2 & HR Analyst 3
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: CMO/Human Resources
SUPERVISOR: Human Resources Manager or Designee
Pay Ranges: HR Analyst 1-$26.56 to $43.25/hr.
HR Analyst 2-$30.75 to $50.07/hr.
HR Analyst 3-$35.60 to $57.96/hr.
Position Summary:
Under general supervision of the Human Resources Manager or designee, has operational responsibilities for the daily functions of human resources programs, such as recruitment, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, compensation, benefits, employee relations, labor relations, training, and organizational development. Provides advice, assistance, and follow-up to departments, employees, and/or members of the public in the application of specified policies, procedures, and documentation. Coordinates the resolution and/or referral of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries. Develops, expedites, and maintains files, records, and other documents as needed. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
Minimum Qualifications for HR Analyst 1:
•High School Diploma or GED.
•One year of human resources experience.
Additional Qualifications for HR Analyst 2:
•Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
•Additional two years human resources experience.
Additional Qualifications for HR Analyst 3:
•Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
•Must possess or obtain and maintain a Professional Human Resources Certification within eighteen months of hire, to include: SHRM, HRCI, IPMA-HR, PHR, or CPTD, or other certification upon approval by the Human Resources Manager.
•Additional two years human resources experience in specialized area:
Training and Development – minimum of two years’ experience in training and instructional design.
Employee Relations – minimum of two years’ experience dealing with employee relations and/or conflict management.
Labor Relations – minimum of two years of experience in dealing with union matters and/or labor relations.
Benefits – minimum of two years’ experience in benefits administration.
Recruitment – minimum of two years’ experience in recruitment
HRIS/compensation – minimum of two years’ experience working in HRIS management and compensation.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business or Public Administration, or related field.
•Human Resources experience in the public sector.
