Human Resources Manager (42948)

Our team is supporting a well-established organization that is looking to add a Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR support for a fast-paced company. This individual will partner closely with leaders while overseeing employee relations, labor relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and other core HR initiatives.


The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Serve as a primary HR partner to operational leaders, providing guidance on employee matters, workforce needs, and day-to-day people decisions.
  • Lead, coach, and support a small on-site Human Resources team.
  • Work directly with employees to address workplace questions, concerns, and employee relations matters.
  • Coach supervisors and managers through performance concerns, documentation, policy interpretation, and other employee situations.
  • Manage recruiting and staffing needs in partnership with hiring leaders, including full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions.
  • Provide guidance on employment practices and help ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Partner with leadership on employee engagement, retention, development, and other initiatives that strengthen the workforce.
  • Support more complex employee and labor relations matters as they arise.
  • Review HR trends and workforce information to identify opportunities, concerns, and areas for improvement.
  • Help maintain and enhance HR programs, processes, and procedures as business needs evolve.
  • Build credibility across the organization through consistent communication, sound judgment, and a practical approach to problem-solving.


The Human Resources Manager will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • 4+ years of HR experience supporting a manufacturing environment required.
  • Strong background handling employee relations and advising leaders through complex employee situations.
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships with both frontline employees and management.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to interpret policies, employment regulations, and other workplace guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple responsibilities and follow through on commitments.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring HR employees is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort working with HR data and reporting.
