As a Resource Development Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting fundraising efforts and building meaningful relationships with corporate partners. ARE YOU THE RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for assigned corporate partners, building strong and lasting relationships while providing ongoing support. You will help plan and execute workplace fundraising campaigns, including developing strategies and coordinating materials, while also assisting with donor communications, recognition efforts, and impact reporting. You'll coordinate volunteer and engagement opportunities in partnership with internal teams, maintain accurate donor and campaign data within CRM systems, and track performance metrics. Additionally, you'll represent United Way at community events, networking opportunities, and corporate engagements, collaborate closely with teams across Marketing, Donor Engagement, Volunteer Center, and Community Impact, and provide general administrative and operational support, including occasional front desk coverage.

SCHEDULE: This is a full-time, 37.5 hour per week position, with a flexible schedule between 8:00am and 5:30PM Monday through Friday, during non-summer hours.

The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring at least two days per week in the office, with additional travel throughout Allegan, Kent, and Ottawa counties. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required based on events, campaigns, or meetings.

Some Knowledge and Skills Required for the Position Are:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in business, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive) and CRM systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience building and maintaining professional relationships
  • Fundraising or donor engagement experience is a plus
  • Understanding of corporate social responsibility practices
  • Ability to track and analyze campaign data and performance metrics
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to travel frequently within the service area of Allegan, Kent, and Ottawa counties (valid driver's license and reliable transportation required)
  • Knowledge and understanding of communities on the Lakeshore and connections in these regions, desired but not required

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Statement: The typical offer range for this role is from minimum to midpoint, with the midpoint representing the average pay for this in a market scope. Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade for which this position belongs to. The salary offer considers a variety of factors relevant to this position, which includes knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The starting hourly rate for this role is $20.51/hour.
