What will I be doing?

A Personal Concierge for Waldorf Astoria Maldives will be responsible for creating and ensuring all guests' needs which will lead to a unique, memorable and personal stay for all the guests. Specifically, as a Personal Concierge for Waldorf Astoria Maldives you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • To provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times. Personal Concierge must present in the property well groomed, clean and pleasant.
  • Ensure the highest possible guest satisfaction.

  • To maintain a calm, courteous and gracious attitude at all time
  • Abides strictly to the established operating procedures.
  • Act in an intuitive manner and engaging service with the guests.
  • To operate and coordinate with relevant departments the in and out in the villa and optimize service while the guest is away as often as possible.
  • To host and welcome all guests in a gracious and polite manner; to have the ability to hold a conversation with the guests in a natural and spontaneous manner.
  • To anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy or whatever time of the day.
  • To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in all other departments.
  • Checks personally all VIP rooms before arrival in respect of supplies and preferences.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Guests and efficiently respond to Guest enquiries

  • Provide information, advice and booking services for a wide variety of Guest enquiries, including Restaurants, Spa, Water sports, special dinning among others

  • Stay relevant with all Resort services as well as daily VIP requests and special events

  • To attend and contribute to all staff meetings, departmental and Resort training as scheduled and other related activities.
  • To undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the managers

Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in the same or similar role, experience as a Personal Concierge, Butler or guest experience role in a Luxury Resort.
  • Knowledgeable of multi-cultural service protocols and standards.

  • Strong ability to operate and successfully arbitrate in a complex international and multicultural environment.

  • Excellent guest relations and problem-solving skills.

  • Good planning and execution skills with the ability to be persistent while focusing on detailed elements of tasks.

  • Excellent time management, organizational, communication, and motivational skills.

  • Have impeccable follow-through.

  • Candidate must have a good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
