A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A RESERVATION SPECIALIST
  • You are the "voice" of our business.
  • You are always respectful and professional in all your interactions.
  • You take inbound phone calls from current and prospective customers.
  • You make outbound phone calls to return voicemails or follow up on emails and reservation requests.
  • You use phone scripts combined with your excellent communication skills to build the value of the services, build relationships with pet parents, and promote a high level of activities that are best for each pet.
  • You process new reservations from start to finish.
  • You handle customer questions and concerns with patience.
  • You use your sales skills and competitive nature to promote services that benefit each pet.
  • Your natural empathy helps you understand customers' concerns and hesitations so you can establish trust and help pet parents overcome the fear associated with leaving their pet.
  • You use your attention to detail as you document the details of each call.
  • And, since you are an animal lover, you also enjoy promoting pet-related services that are truly in the best interest of every pet, since our #1 goal is to ensure each pet is happy, safe, and healthy during his or her stay with us.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Polished, professional and enunciates clearly
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Must be open to coaching and committed to learning new concepts
  • Must be able to input information into software while speaking on the phone
  • At least one year of call center, sales, or hospitality experience is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during peak times
  • Must not be allergic to dogs or cats
