Job description

The Replenishment Analyst partners with merchandising, supply chain, and showroom teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time to support customer demand. This role manages inventory flow from overseas vendors through Rooms To Go distribution centers, analyzes inventory and sales trends, and helps optimize showroom assortment, replenishment, and product availability.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Planning & Replenishment

  • Manage inventory flow from overseas vendors to Rooms To Go distribution centers.
  • Analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and replenishment needs to optimize product availability.
  • Balance inventory across colors, finishes, sizes, and configurations based on customer demand and sales performance.
  • Monitor production schedules, purchase orders, and shipping timelines to minimize stock shortages and maintain healthy inventory levels.

Operations & Vendor Coordination

  • Partner with overseas vendors to monitor production status, lead times, and container utilization.
  • Coordinate with distribution centers to support efficient product flow and inventory replenishment.
  • Identify inventory risks and recommend solutions to improve service levels and inventory performance.

Showroom & Merchandising Support

  • Partner with Visual Merchandising and Showroom Managers to support showroom layouts and standardized planograms.
  • Communicate product availability, floor sample shipments, and SKU transitions to store leadership.
  • Travel to showroom locations to review merchandising execution and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in retail inventory planning, replenishment, global supply chain, merchandising operations, or a related field. Experience with home furnishings or products with multiple attributes (e.g., color, size, style, or finish) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing business priorities, and continuously seek opportunities to improve inventory planning and operational processes.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, taking initiative to solve problems, make informed decisions, and drive results.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis. Ability to analyze inventory, sales, and replenishment data to support business decisions.
  • Ability to interpret visual merchandising guidelines, planograms, and showroom layouts to support inventory flow and optimize product presentation.
  • Basic understanding of import logistics, overseas vendor lead times, production schedules, and container planning is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across merchandising, supply chain, operations, and showroom teams.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to local and regional showroom locations to audit displays and collaborate with store teams.
