Position Overview
The HR Generalist serves as the operational backbone of the US HR function at 10Pearls. This hands-on role ensures the accurate and consistent delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle while maintaining compliance and fostering a high-trust employee experience. You will manage day-to-day HR execution for our distributed US workforce, serving as a reliable point of contact and ensuring processes run smoothly and effectively.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in a dynamic environment and values clear processes, empathetic employee support, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding for US employees.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries, providing timely and accurate support.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Coordinate benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and vendor partnerships.
  • Support leave management processes (FMLA, state-specific leaves, and workplace accommodations).

Compliance & Policy Administration

  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple US states.
  • Interpret and apply HR policies consistently and fairly.
  • Partner with Legal and Payroll teams on compliance-related matters.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, reporting, and mandatory filings.

Employee Relations & Support

  • Receive, document, and support the resolution of employee relations matters.
  • Advise managers on policy application, performance processes, and best practices.
  • Assist in conducting confidential investigations under guidance from HR leadership.
  • Ensure proper documentation and escalation of sensitive or high-risk issues.

Performance Cycle & Manager Enablement

  • Support the administration of performance review cycles and related documentation.
  • Guide managers through performance management processes, timelines, and corrective actions.
  • Assist with termination processes from a compliance and procedural standpoint.

HR Programs & Initiatives

  • Execute HR programs in areas such as performance, engagement, and DEI as designed by HR leadership.
  • Coordinate program communications, logistics, and participation tracking.
  • Provide feedback on process effectiveness and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a distributed or remote workforce environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of US employment laws and multi-state compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting remote and hybrid employees; tech industry experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Workday, BambooHR, UKG, or similar).
