Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer to support enterprise Customer Service modernization initiatives for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

This role is ideal for an experienced Dynamics professional who enjoys designing enterprise CRM solutions, mentoring developers, solving complex technical challenges, and delivering secure, scalable Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications.

Your work will directly contribute to the modernization of Department of Veterans Affairs customer service platforms by delivering secure, scalable Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions that improve operational efficiency, automation, and Veteran engagement.

What You'll DoMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Solution Development
  • Design, develop, customize, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service applications.
  • Develop custom plugins, workflows, business rules, forms, entities, and automation.
  • Configure Dynamics modules to support evolving business and operational requirements.
Enterprise Integration
  • Integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 with enterprise systems using REST APIs, web services, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Design scalable integration solutions supporting enterprise CRM modernization.
Technical Leadership
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote Microsoft development best practices.
  • Participate in solution design, code reviews, and technical planning.
Solution Delivery
  • Support unit testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployments, and release management.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term technical improvements.
  • Optimize application performance and maintain enterprise CRM stability.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
  • Develop technical documentation, solution designs, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Microsoft development standards and security best practices.

Required QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Experience
  • Minimum five (5) years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service development experience.
  • Seven (7)+ years of overall Information Technology experience.
  • Extensive experience developing enterprise CRM customizations, plugins, workflows, integrations, and automation solutions.
