• Utilize a variety of therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to meet clients' unique needs.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and optimize client outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health.

The clientele served by Tree of Life Counseling Services includes a range of individuals from diverse backgrounds who may be struggling with mental health disorders, relationship issues, trauma, and substance abuse. The LPC will work closely with clients who often have limited access to traditional services, underscoring our commitment to fostering emotional well-being in underrepresented communities.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong ethical standards and a thorough understanding of legal obligations within the mental health profession.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms.

• Specialized training or experience in family therapy, trauma-informed care, couples therapy, or substance abuse counseling.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a healthcare team setting.

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, depending on experience and caseload.
