Your work as an LMFT at Tree of Life Counseling Services will primarily involve supporting individuals, couples, and families facing a diverse array of challenges. This includes managing stress, navigating relationship issues, grappling with mental health disorders, and recovering from trauma. You will utilize a holistic approach, recognizing the interconnectedness of emotional and relational dynamics in fostering healing.

• Must possess an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering genuine connections with clients to build trust and facilitate open dialogue.
• A compassionate, nonjudgmental attitude, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding towards clients’ life experiences.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills to effectively handle case responsibilities and administrative functions.

• Experience in providing therapy for substance use disorders and related behavioral issues is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the latest evidence-based therapeutic techniques and treatment modalities to support recovery and mental health improvement.
• Previous experience working in a private practice setting or remote therapy environment is a plus.
