The Program Manager serves as the overall manager and single point of contact (POC) for all contractor activities supporting the government on an Assessment & Authorization (A&A) task order. This individual provides strategic leadership, program oversight, and operational direction to ensure the successful execution of all contractual requirements.
The Program Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects and task orders, overseeing program risks and dependencies, integrating contractor-to-contractor efforts, and ensuring seamless coordination across all A&A workstreams and delivered services. The Program Manager maintains consistent, proactive communication with Government stakeholders and serves as the primary liaison between the customer and the contractor throughout the life of the contract.
Work Location: Preferred Location is Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. Remote Consideration: This position may be performed remotely from anywhere within the United States, based on contract requirements and customer approval. Periodic travel to customer sites, program meetings, and contractor locations may be required.
Responsibilities
Serve as the overall Program Manager and primary point of contact for all A&A activities on the task order.
Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for all program operations, ensuring successful execution of contractual objectives. 
Lead large, complex programs and direct multiple concurrent projects while ensuring alignment with customer priorities and mission objectives. 
Manage program risks, interdependencies, schedules, budgets, staffing, and overall program performance. 
Ensure effective integration and coordination among all A&A work units, subcontractors, and supporting contractors. 
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Government leadership and serve as the senior interface with customer stakeholders. 
Lead and mentor Project Managers, technical leads, and program support personnel. 
Manage geographically dispersed teams across multiple customer and contractor locations, ensuring consistent communication, collaboration, accountability, and delivery of program objectives. 
Supervise and manage contract personnel supporting operations at multiple sites while fostering a high-performing, customer-focused team environment. 
Analyze complex program challenges and develop innovative solutions involving financial management, scheduling, staffing, technology, methodologies, and delivery approaches. 
Develop both long-range and short-range strategic plans for application selection, systems development, maintenance activities, production support, and resource planning. 
Direct all aspects of project planning, execution, monitoring, and performance management. 
Meet regularly with Government representatives, program stakeholders, subcontractors, and contractor personnel to review task plans, milestones, deliverables, schedules, and costs. 
Prepare or oversee the development of executive-level briefings, reports, presentations, and other materials for Agency leadership, executive management, and federal oversight organizations. 
Track and report the status of ongoing and upcoming projects, identifying issues, risks, and mitigation strategies. 
Establish program goals, performance metrics, and implementation plans that support contract objectives. 
Direct financial management activities, staffing strategies, resource allocation, and operational planning to ensure technical and contractual requirements are successfully achieved. 
Apply extensive knowledge of Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes, cybersecurity frameworks, and federal compliance requirements to support informed program decisions. 
Evaluate overall program performance and recommend strategic improvements that support long-term growth, operational efficiency, and mission success. 
Ensure consistent, transparent, and proactive communication with Government customers throughout program execution.
