Position open to all qualified candidates.

Location: 3 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401

Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Annual Budgeted Amount: $60,278

Benefits: Participation in the County’s group health plan including prescription, dental, and optical, paid holidays and sick leave. Optional deferred compensation program at employee's own expense.

Job Description

Nature of Work:

Collecting water samples, conducting field inspections, permit reviews and office work for the Well Construction and Groundwater Quality Program.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology or related field from an accredited college or university.

License or Certification:

Requires a Certificate of Eligibility or an Environmental Health Specialist License from the Board of Environmental Specialists.
