What is a Remote Tech Sales job?

A Remote Tech Sales job involves selling technology products or services—such as software, hardware, or IT solutions—to businesses or consumers, all while working from a remote location rather than in a traditional office. Professionals in this field engage with potential clients online or over the phone, manage accounts, demonstrate product value, and close sales deals. The role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of technology, and the ability to build relationships virtually. Remote Tech Sales jobs offer flexibility and the chance to work with clients from various industries and locations.

What are some common challenges faced in a remote tech sales role, and how can they be effectively managed?

In a remote tech sales role, one of the most common challenges is maintaining strong communication and relationships with both clients and internal teams without in-person interaction. Staying motivated and organized while working independently can also be difficult, especially when managing multiple accounts or time zones. To overcome these challenges, successful remote tech sales professionals leverage digital collaboration tools, set clear daily routines, and prioritize proactive communication to ensure they stay connected and responsive. Regular virtual meetings, clear goal-setting, and ongoing professional development also play a key role in thriving in this environment.

About Scalepex

Scalepex is a leading provider of nearshore BPO and technology development solutions, connecting clients with highly skilled teams in Latin America. We help businesses scale efficiently by offering cost-effective, bilingual talent, cutting-edge technology services, and operational excellence.

At Scalepex, we value innovation, collaboration, and results, and we are growing fast. This is your chance to join a company that's shaping the future of nearshore services while building your career and earning potential.

About the Role

We're looking for a Nearshore Sales Manager to connect clients with our delivery centers in Mexico.

This role covers both BPO services and technology development solutions - from customer support and back-office services to software development, IT services, and digital transformation.

It's a high-reward position with uncapped commissions and quarterly company trips to Mexico to visit our centers, meet clients, and strengthen partnerships.

If you're a natural relationship builder with a passion for sales, this is your opportunity to grow fast in a booming nearshore market.

What You'll Do
  • Sell BPO services and technology development solutions delivered from Mexico.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, proposals, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
  • Work closely with delivery and technology teams in Mexico to align solutions and pricing with client needs.
  • Highlight Mexico as a nearshore hub for outsourcing and software/IT development.
  • Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry forums.
  • Maintain pipeline activity and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Why Mexico?

Mexico is one of the fastest-growing nearshore destinations, offering skilled talent in BPO and technology development, cost efficiency, cultural alignment, and easy collaboration across time zones. This is your chance to build client relationships, earn big, and be part of a thriving market.

Apply today and take your career to the next level.

Requirements

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (inside or outside sales).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in staffing, outsourcing, or technology sales is a huge plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus (not required).
  • Comfortable managing a sales cycle from prospect to close.
  • Willingness to travel quarterly to Mexico centers.

Benefits

What We Offer
  • Uncapped commissions + competitive base salary.
  • Quarterly company trips to Mexico (all expenses covered).
  • Health and retirement benefits.
  • Remote-first culture with international exposure.
  • Career growth in BPO and technology sales.
