About the Job

Caliber is revolutionizing the global fitness industry by combining science-based strength training methods with expert human coaching to help people improve their fitness, health, and overall well-being.

We're looking for strength and conditioning coaches who are passionate about evidence-based training and helping clients achieve meaningful results. You'll utilize your expertise in program design and exercise science to provide exceptional coaching through our digital platform, providing ongoing personalized support through messaging and video chatting.

As a Caliber coach, you'll be joining a fast-growing company aimed at reshaping how people train with expert guidance, delivered 100% virtually through the Caliber mobile app and web platform.

Minimum Qualifications

  • NCCA accredited certification with preference for CSCS, NSCA-CPT, or other strength and conditioning focused credentials (ACSM, ACE, NASM also accepted).
  • 1+ years of experience in online coaching.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of proper exercise technique, especially for primary weight training exercises such as the bench press, squat, and deadlift.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and a variety of fitness levels.
  • Available to work at least 20 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
  • CSCS certification or other advanced strength and conditioning credentials.
  • Experience with online nutrition coaching and flexible dieting approaches.
  • Available to work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Design individualized strength training programs based on client goals, experience level, available equipment, and schedule constraints.
  • Provide expert form analysis and technique coaching through video review and in-app messaging.
  • Develop nutrition strategies tailored to support strength gains, body composition goals, and overall health objectives.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients through in-app messaging and scheduled video calls.
  • Provide ongoing education to clients in tandem with the Caliber in-app lessons covering a range of topics including nutrition, supplements, training, and exercise techniques.
  • Proactively monitor client progress and adjust programming based on performance data and feedback.
  • Collaborate with the engineering, product, and marketing teams to improve the experience for each Caliber member.
